We have reached over 5000+ students across Southern California and are expanding outreach across the nation. Through both student-oriented workshops and other independent speaking opportunities, we aim to reach as many people as possible.
Our curriculum is catered towards fourth-to-sixth graders, with thirteen lessons spanning across various topics regarding environmental science, climate change, and bipartisan activism. Lesson plans are accompanied with teacher guides, student activities, and answer keys.
Climate Activate is a podcast towards high schoolers, highlighting the plethora of environmental science-related careers in the workforce through interviews with professionals in business, film, research, and more. Episodes are available on Spotify and Apple Music and are published every other Wednesday.
In 2021, I started ClimateLitNow in hopes of increasing climate literacy, taking inspiration from my own experiences in school by creating youth-centric resources, lessons, and media. This project stemmed from my own time going through the education system. In elementary school, I had the opportunity to learn about environmental science in my general science classes. Only in high school did I learn that very few students had exposure to such a curriculum, despite the significance and worldwide impact of climate change.
